Bisphenol A, the building block of polycarbonate plastic, is used in most plastic baby bottles. It has been
found that a small amount of Bisphenol A can leach out into the milk when a baby bottle is heated.
Bisphenol A is a harmone-disrupting chemical, whose effect on animals have been confirmed.
There is still no evidence on humans, but it has already been considered by the european
food safety authority and by american scientific studies, as a potential uiquitous
contaminant of the food chain.
